This gorgeous four-bedroom house that sleeps 10 is perched on the top of a hill with sweeping views of olive groves, a vineyard, and Mt. Cetona. The house is located three kilometers (about 2 miles) outside the old walls of the charming medieval hilltown of Monteleone d'Orvieto. It features a private swimming pool, four bedrooms (that sleep up to ten), a formal dining room, a living room with fireplace, a glass enclosed patio with seating, an al fresco covered dining patio, and a full kitchen. Monteleone lies directly between Rome and Florence making it an ideal base from which to explore central Italy, particularly Umbria and Tuscany.

The house is simply perfect for groups of friends or families who want to sink into the beauty of the Umbrian countryside, enjoy meals outdoors with unparalleled views, or visit nearby wineries and the many historic medieval towns of Umbria and Tuscany. It is available for rent by the week. The proprietors are a sweet Italian couple -- an architect and a sculptor who are in the neighboring annex.
